Cookie Policy

Cookies, without the confusion.

A cookie is just a small note your browser keeps so a website remembers you. GeoMark uses only the few that are needed to sign you in and keep your account safe — nothing more.

Last updated: August 2026

The short version

We use a handful of cookies purely to log you in and protect your account — no advertising cookies and no hidden trackers. We still show a short consent banner because some regions require one, and you can accept or decline there. Either way, you’re in control and can clear cookies from your browser any time (you’ll just need to sign in again).

Why we use cookies

Every cookie below does one simple, necessary job. If we switched them off, you wouldn’t be able to sign in or stay signed in — so there’s nothing to opt out of here.

Keeps you signed in

Lasts 30 days

Holds your secure session so you don’t have to log in on every page. It’s encrypted and only your browser can use it.

__Secure-next-auth.session-token

Protects your account

Cleared when you close the browser

A security check that confirms sign-in and form submissions really came from you, blocking a common type of attack (CSRF).

__Host-next-auth.csrf-token

Returns you to the right place

Cleared when you close the browser

Remembers the page you were heading to, so after you sign in you land where you expected.

__Secure-next-auth.callback-url

Keeps your tabs in sync

Cleared when you close the browser

If you sign in or out in one tab, this lets your other open tabs update too, so your session stays consistent.

nextauth.message

Remembers your cookie choice

Lasts 365 days

When you accept or decline on the cookie banner, this quietly records your answer so we don’t ask again on every visit.

What we never do

No advertising cookies
No third-party trackers following you around the web
No analytics that build a profile of you
We never sell or share your data with advertisers

Managing cookies yourself

You’re always in charge. Every browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies in its settings. Just note that blocking the sign-in cookies above will stop you logging into GeoMark — they’re the ones doing the actual work of keeping you in.
